A Flash and Flex webcam chat for the free Red5 media server, released with its full source code on SourceForge – an alternative to an expensive Flash Media Server licence.

Flash reaches end of life
Browsers stop running Flash on 31 December 2020. Every Flash chat, Red5 Chat included, stops working in the browser.

HTML5 and WebRTC
Dialogoo and HTML5-Chat carry the idea forward: no plugin, no Java server to maintain, and it works on phones.
